When I record a call with Pamela, all of a sudden the sound is gone. What is happening?

This is most likely caused by the wrong device settings in Pamela (see Options -> Sound). If the devices are not correctly set, and a call recording is started the devices are changed to the wrong ones.

Alternatively try to deactivate the "Copy from Skype" checkbox below the audio device settings in Pamela sound options.
