Unable to connect to Skype audio ports, unable to record Skype calls

Due to changes in the Skype Desktop version 7.xx, there is a potential problem with the connection between Pamela and the Skype audio ports.

Skype have implemented a new calling procedere in the latest versions which does not support audio output the Skype API in some specific calling situations. As a result Pamela will show you an error message that it can not connect to the audio ports of Skype.

We have fixed this in Pamela and later.

To resolve this issue, please update Pamela to the latest version. You can do this by downloading the same edition you have installed from our site at (make sure you download the correct version.) After downloading, run the setup which will update the Pamela version. All data will be migrated and preserved.
